I am strem, and I live outside St. Louis. I used to chat it up with many of my tumblr/twitter friends a few years back when I traveled around and had a ton of fun following John Mayer on tour. I had to stop when I took a big promotion at work which took up all of my time. This past year, I quit my job and pursued a dream of starting a non-profit vocal music group. Now, I’m able to reconnect and follow more dreams. I’m so happy to be back.
Three months from now, I’m going to hit a big birthday. And, I mean BIG birthday. Naturally, it’s a time for reflection.
For a quite a few years now (and through a handful or two of birthdays,) there have been various obstacles that have kept me from reaching the things that are most important to me. In short, life hasn’t turned out like I though it would. A few things from the past have been on repeat play in my head. I’ve lost sight of the vision. And, I’ve let a lot of noise get in my head, body, and soul that have drowned out the real me.
Now is the time to end all of that and get back to going for the dreams I have for my life. I’ve made big changes or am in the midst of making big changes to my job, my routine, my relationships, my home, my surroundings, my diet, and my health. You’ll be able to follow along here on tumblr or on my profiles through twitter, instagram, and YouTube. Stay tuned for details.
In the meantime, let’s start planning ahead. Let’s help each other go after the (s)tremendous life we want. I’m going on an adventure in the year ahead, and you being here will be a great help to me. What adventure do you seek? What goal are you trying to reach? What obstacle are you knocking over in the days and weeks and months ahead?
Telling someone else, putting it in writing, and putting your desires into words often helps provide focus, and focus yields results. We often kid ourselves to think we are alone… that our no one could understand our circumstances… that others would judge us. But, the truth is we share more in our life experiences than we think. So, I’ll be sharing my journey. Please consider sharing yours with me - as I’d love to help you get to where you’re going. Let’s go get ‘em… together.
